Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] alexia47's tutorial, I can now make rainy icons. Case in point.

Expect more Jin icons tomorrow. Because I have about 50 versions, and they're all pretty because Jin is pretty.

And, by the way, [livejournal.com profile] rainjewel, I'm still in love with this CD too. I was listening to it while making the icons... so, naturally, that became the text.

And [livejournal.com profile] hang_nga_79, thank you again. And again. And thank you one more time.

'Tis a good CD. 'Tis a most awesome band. The funny thing is--I thought that BoBD was one of the weaker songs of the album and everyone loves it. o.0 Shows how much I know.

Glad you're enjoying it! *will not squee, will not ramble*

I thinks it's about medium range as far as strong/weak, but it's so singable. And that line is very good. Although, my favorite lyric from the song is actually "I'm walking down the line that divides me somewhere in my mind."

I thought the weaker songs were "Extraordonary Girl" and "Novacaine."

It's a damn good line. BoBD is by far one of the most accessible songs of the record, one that can easily be taken out of the context of the story of AI. However, I think that other songs are stronger (in context of the development of JoS' story) and resonate because of AI as a whole.

I think thematically "Extraordinary Girl" is actually quite strong, though not musically remarkable--Whatsername doesn't get a lot of play time as a character (in comparison w/ JoS and St. Jimmy) so I like that song even though it doesn't rock quite as hard.

"Novocaine" is fun because of the guitars. Other than that, it's weak thematically as well. But a good JoS/St. Jimmy moment.

I think the most skippable track is "Are We the Waiting," mostly because I know that "St. Jimmy" is the next track. AWtW seems to long for me, and I think it's just an extrapolation of the theme of BoBD applied to a society on a universal scale. It's not completely pointless or unnecessary, but I don't always have to listen to the entire piece.

I'm not as much into "Are We the Waiting" either. I usually listen to it for about a minute or so, then skip.
