I don't remember the whole hand-holding/our-love-is-like-children thing in the manga.... but it's possible I forgot.

It's in there... but it's only a few frames and it doesn't have sad music or color and we don't actually see them reaching for each other, only the actual hand-holding.

...not that that scene made me cry, or anything.
