Help!

So, a few months go I started this fic, which was a plan to do a drabble for every episode, and each drabble revolve around a different character. Given that FMA has so many characters, this didn't seem like it would be hard.

I need help in the form of suggestions. I've written the first 8 drabbles, and have marked some future episodes for future characters. But I don't have all of them, and I need suggestions. So, here's the lis/outlinet:

See my quandry? I still don't have characters picked for 16, 18, or 19 of the first half of the series, and I have a lot of empty spaces for season 2. I need suggestions! Tell me which character to put with which episode! And if you're feeling generous, why.

I've only written up to episode 8, so if you think I should take a character already chosen for an ep and do a different character or different episode instead, tell me that too.


An example of my problem:

Because I wrote Roy in episode 8, I'm able to use Barry in the episode where he's teasing Alphonse about his identity crisis.

But because I wrote Roy in episode 8, can't write him in episode 15!
Who then should be in ep 15?!

EDIT: I think I've done it. I've gotten a full list.

The only sucky thing is episode 19.

In my quest not to repeat anyone but Al, I've left episode 19 to "librarian officer beaten up by Scar."

Which is kinda lame.

I am going to give this serious thought as soon as I'm out from under my last two finals and actually have time to rewatch episodes, but I just have to say right now -- holy shit you wrote Nina in ep 7. You are crazy and masochistic and I love you.

Actually, I lied. I haven't written Nina. I've written 1-6 and 8, but I figured I'd just say I wrote 1-8 because, really, I kind of HAVE to do Nina for #7 so it's not like it's adjustable.

Wow, do you go for audience angst! Done and done. But which ep should be Izumi?

See, it's like this giagantic puzzle. If I write Izumi during the Wrath intro eps, I can't write her when she appears again in the late 40s. Same for Wrath. And because I wrote Roy in episode 8 (it's the alley lecture, and oh it's wicked), I'm able to use Barry in the episode where he's teasing Alphonse about his identity crisis. But because I wrote Roy in episode 8, can't write him in episode 15! Who then should be in ep 15?

What about episode 31? That's the ep she goes to retrieve Wrath from the military, right? (I have trouble remembering specific episodes, since I usually watched like...5 or 6 eps at a time.)

Also...maybe Sloth for episode 47?

oooh...47. I also wanted to do lust for 47, cause the same thing happens, but I already pegged Lust for 42 for the Lust/Scar interaction. Okay, I'll do Sloth for 47.

Maybe episode 15? Unless you want to do one of his later episodes, instead. In which case...that would be hard to choose, I think. 40 might be good, unless you decide you want to use that one for Martel.

The way I figure it:

39 - good for Martel, because it has the explanation for the war, and martel v. Kimblee
40 - Martel v. Pride, also good, but also has lots of Scar flashbacks
41 - Kimblee's end

Scar would be good for 15, and 14. I'm doing Marcoh for 14. Who else is in 15?

Gran is in the flashbacks for 15, and dies in 14.

And there's that great reaction shot where Feury sees Al's empty armor.

I guess I could do Gran in 15 flashbacks, and save Feury for a later episode.

Then i could do Scar in 40 and Martel in 39.

I think I've done it! Read it and tell me what you think. And if you have any ideas for #19 besides "librarian officer beaten up by Scar", I'd love to hear it.
