Jun. 10th, 2005 04:30 pmWhen the camera man turns to his boss the interviewer and asks when "When did this turn into a movie?", they had me.
I think I'm going to like Millenium Actress quite a bit.
EDIT: I have to pause to run to the computer every few minutes because I AM ENRAPTURED. This is a beautiful, beautiful film for the eyes to see.
EDIT: Dude, one second she's a warrior princess disguised as a travelling woman, now she's a Konoha-esque babyninja. Who even does log-replacement no jutsu. ::whistles::

Date: 2005-06-10 11:53 pm (UTC)Hmm. I'm not sure how to take that, because I don't think I liked Perfect Blue as much as you did. I don't hold Perfect Blue on a pedestal. It was a very good movie wiht certain great aspects, but it was a 8.5/10 film, not a 10/10. I just give it very high props in certain areas-- mainly subtlety factor and WTF? factor. And because it's the only kind of mystery-psycho-thriller film I've seen in anime, and it left a strong positive impression on me for that genre.
