Found this really cool Naruto fanart here:

I just love seeing futuristic Naruto pics, where everyone looks all ninja-y and stuff. I'll take that over a mushy romantic bit of fanart any day.

I believe that site also has torrents for the anime. Even if it doesn't, torrents for the episodes are all over the internet.
I enjoy both the anime and the manga equally, though in the latter seasons I think the manga pulls ahead. Still, there's some kick-ass visuals in the first 50 or 60 episodes that are better with motion and color.
You liked DBZ, right? The reason I adore Naruto so much is that it's the first fighting anime I love as much as any other action/adventure/fantasy anime. It's got the few things I really liked about DBZ as a long fighting anime, but almost none of the major flaws. Where DBZ was repetitive, Naruto has a long, complex and overarching plot that doesn't follow the same formula every season-- there's clear character arcs that tie into a very well-planned out plotline. It's full of complicated, multi-dimensional characters, most of whom I learned to love or loathe for one reason or another. And there's a sense of realism to the characters that I love-- not the abilities they have, which are fantastical, but in their relationships and personal conflicts. The show is set in a very militarized world with the main characters as 12 year old ninja soldiers-- but they act like 12 year olds. They're not unbeatable superheros and they have to go through massive amounts of pain and angst to survive long enough to grow up... into a life that's almost assured to be filled with more pain and angst until their eventual violent death in battle. For the most part the show is adventurous, of course, but the harsh reality of their world is always lingering in the background. They don't get to beat the strongest alien in the galaxy then go home for a year or two until the next strongest alien in the galaxy attacks. They have to be learning all the time and ready to go to war with other ninja villages at any point.
And wow, I totally went off on a tangent there. Anyway, this show? It kicks massive, massive ass.
And I love the main character, Uzumaki Naruto, to almost ridiculous amounts. He's one of my most beloved protagonists in anime.... which is weird because by all rights he's the kind of character in anime I'd usually be annoyed by and want to ignore, but instead I just adore him. And when I watch the show or read the manga, I worry about him and his angst and I want him to be happy. He never will, of course, but I keep hoping.

Yep, it's a cool pic. I especially like how Sakura's head is tilted, and her expression.
