Stargate fans, help!
Jul. 12th, 2005 09:56 pmAccording to the SciFi channel's Stargate SG1 website's character profiles, the character played by Ben Browder in the new season already appeared in the end of season 7, Lost City.
I checked the episode summaries, and they didn't say anything about his character. So, my question is this: what do I need to know about his SG1 character when the new season premiers this Friday?
I'm assuming I can't just think of him as John Crichton. Though I want to. I WANT TO SO VERY VERY BADLY. ::clings desperately to Farscape love which will never never die::
Storywise, I'm more looking forward to Atlantis. But characterwise? SG1. I am loyal to my sci-fi series-jumping actors, yes I am.

Date: 2005-07-13 05:42 am (UTC)I didn't used to watch Stargate, but my dad starting getting the show season by season from Netflix and after that watching reruns. He "discovered" Stargate, to put it in fan terms, and since has subjected us to rerun overdose. I've never been a huge fan, but you see a show enough times and you kinda get into it. It'll never be on the level of Buffy or Farscape or The X Files in my mind... it's permanently stuck in the Sliders/Hercules/SeaQuest mediocrity trap. But it's better than crap like Charmed and I know I can count on it for easy entertainment most of the time.
I've watched almost all of Stargate Atlantis from the beginning, so I'm more knowledgable on their characters and storylines. I'm not crazy about that show either, but like I said: guarantee of easy watching and decent entertainment.
