initial reaction:
TRAUMA TRAUMA TRAUMA
OH MY FUCKING GOD.
TELEVISION VIEWING TRAUMA HERE.
a more thought out reaction:
I loved that they packed so much into such a short time, but at the same time the pacing was too fast. I hope the next episode is a little more normally paced. I felt like we were fast-forwarding through a lot of really important stuff that could have been fleshed out in two episodes or more, instead of being shoved together to put the right characters in the right emotional place at the right time for the new intended plotlines.
one spoilery end-thought for the ep:
that Veronica and Weevil still have their groove. Even if it's a messed up groove, and slightly tarnished, they still got it. This makes me happy because I'm not liking Logan right now (there's sympathy but not like right now), and from the start I've liked Weevil just as much as Logan. He's more interesting than Duncan, anyway.
As for everything else... TRAUMA. FUCKING TRAUMA ON MY TV. ::clings to throw-pillow::

Date: 2005-09-29 05:20 am (UTC)Then I spent the commercial break trying to remember if her coworker said "your boyfriend's here" in a different tone of voice for the two different guys, like a secret signal or something.
Then I wondered if it was all a dream.
Then I figured it must be some flashback thing and that hey, the flashback timeline's here are really frelling confusing.
Then like 10 minutes later I was thinking oh, now I know what it meant when she said "that's what happens when your best friend starts dating your ex."
Clever writers. Almost annoying so. ::shakes fist at tv::
But dude-- did Meg just die? Fuck! I liked Meg.
