I've found the perfect Jin/Fuu story, and though it'd be nice to read more, I know that I can at least be happy that SC ficdom has produced one absolutely fabulous Jin/Fuu fic that makes me gush and breaks my heart. Yes, I am shamefully easy to manipulate emotionally, but that doesn't make this fic any less wonderful. I just hope the author would write the last damn chapter or two and let it be finished.

Now if only [livejournal.com profile] angrybee would write some Jin/Fuu! Such would be wonderful.

*prostrates self*

Thank you! *saves link* I've had a longing for good, multichapter Jin/Fuu since I saw the final eps of SC and I mightn't have found this fic without your rec.

OMG!TY!!!

::wails:: IT'S SOOOO HAAAAAAAAAAAARD! THERE'S NOTHING OUT THERE THAT DOESN'T SUUUUUUUUCK!

So even one long juicy good one is to be celebrated. And you'll love it. I read it late in the AM hours and I almost cried. ::is a sap::

Speaking of the last episodes... How did you like the baseball ep? I'm sad that the "Fuck you!", the funniest moment in the whole episode, is probably going to be bleeped out on the dub.

It was a hoot once I got into the spirit of it. I kinda wished they'd have done more character stuff toward the end, though...

I know what you mean. Though I love SC, there's a lot of ways where I think it failed to live up to potential, characterization being the biggest flaw. It's the same problem I had with Bebop, only worse, because we knew even less about these three people than we knew about Spike, Faye, Jet, and Ed.

Also the pacing. Having the baseball episode be randomly there before the final eps. Having the zombie episode be randomly there after the OH MY GOD ending of the episodes with the blind assassin.

But I figured somewhere along the way that I had to stop expecting a plot or evenly paced character development, and just enjoy the fun or crazy bits of it that were there to enjoy.

One more fic rec

This isn't Jin/Fuu (no pairings really), but it is awesome.

Just checked my inbox and read the first section of this fic -- I was very impressed by the Jin!voice and characterization. Beautiful work there. I'm really going to enjoy this fic. Thanks for reccing it. :)
