Is it bad of me that when I'm feeling frustrated and happen to be looking at ff.net, I feel an overwhelming urge to mock people who write stupid stuff?

Mocking isn't nice. And I'm generally a nice person. But sometimes I can't *help* it! I'm already frustrated and the badfic is just THERE waiting to be mocked. Begging for it.

Like so:

summary: I'm not very good at summaries, but this is basically a ZukoKatara fanfic. Katara is orginally in a relationship with Aang, although she's not very happy in it.Then Zuko kidnaps her to take revenge on Aang and an unexpected romance blossoms.

Why wouldn't he just kidnap Aang instead? If he wants revenge so badly. And since, you know, that is Zuko's whole mission in life.


summary:As the Fire Nation helps the other nations rebuild, Erin and Zuko's marriage grows stronger and stronger. Who will try to destroy it?

The guy who wrote the pre-nup?


summary: When she found out she had to marry a prince and not just any price the prince of the fire nation who had a rep for being a pain she was scared. But maybe what they say isnt true maybe he has another side . . . . .well we'll see wont we. first fic EVER

Oh no you didn't. Oh no you DIDN'T. That's not an excuse for the drivel you just expelled. My first fic was a poem and yeah it sucked but at least I had grasp of basic 5th grade grammar.


summary: I know its a sucky title. Iroh is away, and that means there will be no one to keep Zuko's temper in check. When Katara foils Zuko's flawless plan to capture the avatar...he loses it and captures her. Will sparks fly? or will it be the end of Katara?

What, is he gonna smother her with a pillow if sparks don't fly?


summary: When Ayata is taken from her home, she has to deal with Admiral's, General's and Even, Zuko's.ZukoXOC

Oh, that would be tough, especially if she can't even deal with apostrophes. Didn't realize Zuko came in pairs.

Hm. I guess there's argument to the theory that in fandom there's an directly inverse relationship between age and dementia in fic quality. As one goes up the other goes down.


Doesn't explain Furuba ficdom though. It completely baffles me how a show that smart (and not for kids, either) can have a ficdom that monumentally BAD.
