This Naruto/Avatar:TheLastAirbender crossover fan-comic amuses me greatly. Because Aang and Naruto would so get along, it's true. And the Zuko/Sasuke comparison is amusing too, even though it's only marginally accurate, because although they've both had crappy childhoods, Zuko's actually a pretty decent kid under all his angst and he hasn't really done anything that bad, and has done a few very good things, whereas Sasuke's done one good thing and is otherwise a complete and total shithead who isn't worth even a drop of the loyalty that Sakura and Naruto give him. If the two characters were to ever meet, Zuko would probably despise Sasuke for being a miniature Zhao.

The fan-comic, though, is awfully cute.

I hope my fangirling of Noein and Jigoku Shoujo don't do the same, should you decide to watch either. :) Esp. where Noein is concerned. It takes five to six episodes to get moving and I've been pretty into it since. Of the series I'm currrently watching, it's number 3 on the list, behind JS and Mushishi.

So it's a Nickelodeon original? Interesting. I'll give it a look soon!

I'm downloading Noein and Mushishi right now, though I haven't started either. Actually, this weekend I'm catching up on Stargate Atlantis episodes. Maybe tomorrow I'll watch anime... probably should watch the Monte Cristo one.

Yep, it's a Nickelodeon original. I'm not sure how much of it was conceived by Nickelodeon-- it could have been bought by them from the production company, or they could have commissioned a production company to make a show
"like this and this and this" (I'm imagining Nick is like other networks in that it buys shows from production companies more than make them itself). But it's considered an original Nickelodeon series as its airing there first.

Should I look for JS on bittorrent? Is it on mininova or AnimeSuki?

Torrents for JS. Shinsen picked it up not long ago. For the longest time, it was just the three episodes Ayu had subbed, then they started subbed again recently. Doesn't matter, cuz everyone's getting it from Shinsen now. The Jelly caption team picked 14 to start at for some odd reason. Who knows why. Their eps are useless to the rest of us, since we haven't seen 10 - 13 in subs. JS kinda builts on previous episode happenings now.

Probably an idea brought to them. A couple of HBO's series' are like that. Some are ideas that they come up with but offered them to others to flesh out (case in point: Alan Ball and Six Feet Under). It's kinda hard for me to see someone at Nick coming up with the general idea for that. Or maybe they did, seeing how popular that kind of stuff is with American kids.
