Interesting movie. Slow beginning. Delightful ending. The very last scene had me actually giggling with delight.
Overall, though, it was weird. In terms of plot it was a little more simplistic than I expected, for a slightly younger audience than I had guessed from the advertisements. The animation, though, was quite creepy in several places. Visually the film was very dark, even in the brighter moments it had a very darkened feeling to it-- there may be bright white but the contrast was turned up so everything not white was still dark. I think I might've enjoyed it on a larger screen than the little television my housemate's got.
