So my housemate had me come take of this spider on her wall. Since it was high up and I was in a good mood, I decided to capture it instead of kill it. I got it in one of those plastic cup things that fit over CD packs. Those are great for catching bugs.
It was tiny and sandy-yellow-green-brown-light-ish, with a body about the side of a lead pencil tip and legs that went out about as wide as my thumbnail. Small spider. Not worth freaking over.
Then I saw it's mandibles. THEY WERE FUCKING HUGE! Comparatively, I mean. They were two things that hung down from its head and were about a third as long as its legs. They almost touched the surface the spider was standing on. And at the end of each one was a dark bulbous thing, like bit of fuzz.
It looked like someone had stuck the thing with mandibles meant for a spider three times it's size.
It was kinda scary at this point.
I dumped it outside.

I probably would have cried if I saw that spider.
