I adore this. So much that I'm considering replacing my heart-breaking Doctor/Rose Doomsday wallpaper with it, and that's big.
Naruto, InuYasha, and FMA tend to have the best fan-comics in English, you notice that?

Date: 2006-08-30 07:28 am (UTC)As wonky and crack-filled as Naruto the series is and as wonky and crack-whorish as its fans are, they have some of the best and widest ranges of humorous fanworks I've seen for anime fandoms. There's so much out there, and so much of it is funny.

Date: 2006-08-30 07:44 am (UTC)I watched the first 6 or so episodes in English and I couldn't take it. About the only voice I really liked was Kakashi-- I almost wept when I heard Iruka's voice because it was so far from being anything like his voice in the sub that it was downright depressing.
I highly recommend the subs of the anime-- and I don't always recommend the subs over the dubs, btw. But in this case I do. Or even better, just read the manga. The whole anime is almost line-by-line taken from the manga, and the art is great.

After that, no Sasuke will ever sound quite right.
