I adore this. So much that I'm considering replacing my heart-breaking Doctor/Rose Doomsday wallpaper with it, and that's big.

Naruto, InuYasha, and FMA tend to have the best fan-comics in English, you notice that?

Your link doesn't work, btw.

And I agree. Love that stuff.

Fixed!

As wonky and crack-filled as Naruto the series is and as wonky and crack-whorish as its fans are, they have some of the best and widest ranges of humorous fanworks I've seen for anime fandoms. There's so much out there, and so much of it is funny.

I remember seeing that one! I love it ( hope I faved it). One thing I like about the Naruto fandom is it doesn't shy away from making fun of the beloved characters...any and all of them. It's just so easy to poke fun at them...

I'm really not very far into the series itself (only as far as CN has gotten it), but I'm certain that the reason I got into Naruto as much as I did, and the reason I like the characters like I do, relies in part on just how much amusing fanart is generated for it and how much of that art I saw before ever really seeing the show itself.

CN? Oh you poor soul. I bet they cut out all the blood, didn't they? Have they shown Gaara liquefying people yet?

I watched the first 6 or so episodes in English and I couldn't take it. About the only voice I really liked was Kakashi-- I almost wept when I heard Iruka's voice because it was so far from being anything like his voice in the sub that it was downright depressing.

I highly recommend the subs of the anime-- and I don't always recommend the subs over the dubs, btw. But in this case I do. Or even better, just read the manga. The whole anime is almost line-by-line taken from the manga, and the art is great.

Then again, the whole of Naruto fandom pre-CN-airing was unfairly biased against the English dubbing after watching this video:

After that, no Sasuke will ever sound quite right.
