the internet is evil
Nov. 20th, 2006 09:14 pmI've decided that as of today I am hiding from all avatar comms. I've been saying I would for a week, but now I'm really gonna. I'm going into crouching wombat, hidden mouse mode. I will hide and no one will spoil me and I can resist fandom for a week and a half YES I CAN.
Except I might visit occasionally to
capslock_atla, BECAUSE THEY MOSTLY DISCUSS NONSENSE ANYWAY, AND I LOVE THAT STUFF.
So this is me! Hiding!
And every time I want to break and browse LJ for avatar stuff, I will instead think about fanfic and force myself to write. Or I might play free cell. Good plan.
Si? Si.

I've been avoiding the avatar fandom by default, minus its fanfic - but I haven't touched FFnet's AtLA section in quite a while. And there are spoilers going around now? The last episode just came out! Or has the marvelous AtLA fandom found a way to gorge itself on spoilers and miscellaneous gunpowder again?
In any case, yes, writing would be a good idea. And SO WOULD BE WRITING VIGNETTES, BUT NO, THIS IS NOT PRESSURE NOR SHAMELESS PESTERING, NOT AT ALL, WHY WOULD YOU SAY SO.

Date: 2006-11-21 07:25 am (UTC)In my experience, even the nicest fandoms are places to fear in the last week before a big episode. And my being a mod, I end up deleting spoiler posts instead of trusting others to protect me.
