edit: In case anyone was interested, a long time ago I compiled a brief list of PT fic recommendations. I wish it were longer, but the actively creative fanbase for PT is quite small, unfortunately.

Date: 2007-02-07 08:18 pm (UTC)I also loved that the show projects its own structure in such creative ways: the clocktower chimes have the images of the prince and princess and the knight and the swan, and the first half is the "happy" ending while the second half is the "glory" ending... gah I love it.
I know you said you don't care for discussion, so I'll stop now. But.... !!!!!! I'm happy you watched it. I want all anime fans to watch it. It's like in my top 5 favorite series.

Date: 2007-02-07 08:24 pm (UTC)And I totaly get the weirdness and girlishness of some of the stuff, especially the ballet, and the names like Princess Tutu. It's *way* more shoujo than anything I've enjoyed since Sailor Moon. Usually I'm not a big shoujo fangirl, but I make a few exceptions.
