Comms aside, if anyone ruins the end of the show for me... I was going to have some kind of terrible fucking creative threat here, but there's really nothing to do in the face of spoiler cruelty.

PLEASE DON'T.

My journal is not a friend of spoiler-talk when it comes to the end of what is, I sadly must admit, my favorite tv show of the moment. No hints, no smiley faces or crying... I DON'T EVEN WANT A FUCKING MOOD SPOILER.

...For everyone else on my friends-list... which is about 86%... sorry for the harsh language, folks! My little epic cartoon fandom is suffering from novelization-released-before-the-series-finale spoiler syndrome, which only comes after a bad case of Network Scheduling Rabies.

((squint)) Wait. There's a novelization of How It Ends? And the network has dicked around so much that the novel's out before It actually has Ended?

Urk. Anti-spoiler fans' worst bloody nightmare.

I hope folks respect your non-spoiler status and that you get to enjoy the series' end happily.

And the network has dicked around so much that the novel's out before It actually has Ended?

Remember how star wars fandom freaked out with Episode 1 because the soundtrack release a week early had "Qui-Gon's Funeral" as a song listing, and he was a major character?

This about 17 times nastier, since it won't be until July that the episodes air again, and probably not until September when the last episode airs.

I gave up on browsing ATLA fic at ff.net (except my author alerts) last week, and it looks like I won't be able to got back NOW for months. I'm also thinking about abstaining from all LJ comms... right now katara_zuko is modded, but everything else is tricky. Thank god I don't have [livejournal.com profile] avatar_fans on my list... they got bombed today by the same creep as two weeks ago.
