Comic Con, again

irrel! yanocchi! Look at this awesome post I got from fadingembers. For potential SD Comic Con reasons, of course!

Now, I could not afford to buy all of those ingredients, but if you gals/guys (and who else we're hanging with) wanted to try at least one or two of the "nation" drinks, we could each bring something and by our spirits combined... ARTIFICIALLY INDUCED AVATAR STATE!

Yes, I find this idea way too amusing.


P.S. anyone on my flist who's going and wants to meet up, send me an email or sign below. No promises, but I'd love to meet more fans of any shared fandom, whether I'm active in it now or the past.

Two people could just collect 10-15 dollars from everyone in the room then go out and come back half an hour later with booze.

I'm no sure. I just got an interview for a job with Wells Fargo, and I think I'm going to tell them I want to work tuesday/thursday/friday or tues/thurs/Saturday, but I'm also going to claim that I have a mandatory out-of-town event from Friday-Sunday that weekend, and if it's possible to have that guaranteed from the outset, then I'll be able to drive down after work on Thursday.

That's assuming I get the job, of course, which is still questionable. It was a good interview, though.

The sad thing is that we have to wake up REALLY early Friday and Saturday if we want to make it to the Joss panels =)

THanks. It's not my first choice, but a job is a job and I need a job.

I just looked at a calendar, and realized the con is the weekend AFTER the ATLA finale. For a minute I was worried they were the same.

Yeah, the friend I'm staying with in LA said I could use his internet to download it, but it's not the same, ya know?

On the other hand... I can't wait!!!!

I haven't seen more than the first half dozen episodes of this season, so I REALLY hope somebody is bringing a laptop with ALL the eps so I can get caught up. Otherwise I'm not gonna get ANYTHING...
