"But through my actions, innocents have died."
"Welcome to Moya."

Probably the one of truest things ever said on Farscape. The crew goes through the galaxy like a wrecking ball. They don't set out to kill, they only try to save themselves and each other. And yet, in doing so, they've for better or worse directly or indirectly altered the lives of thousands of others. Often, for worse.

God, I need to watch this episode when it comes on again at 12. Harvey's not just a figment; he's a bug! Or, he is a figment, and he's just bluffing to convince Crichton to save Scorpius.

I loved the mock-vampire thing that Harvey did. Though it was weird having to explain the show's portrayal of the strange workings of John's head to my mom, who hates this show.

The "We are as gods" (::snerk::) scene of last weeks Buffy reminded me a lot of Farscape. It was a waccky, absurd take on someone's fantasy. In fact, a lot of "Storyteller" reminded me of the whole Harvery/John element of FS. The trips into Crichton's mind have always been funny, bizarre, symbolic, and informative. And bizarre. But they're an interesting thing that is distinctly Farscape. I understood it when it was used to show us John's insanity, but I loved that they kept it as part of his character even after he became sane again. It's trippy, it's funny, and though you think it's stupid it usually ends up being very very smart.

God, I'm going to miss this show. When will the reruns begin on another channel, I ask?

Oh, and Aeryn's back! Aeryn's back! AERYN'S BACK! I love this ship.

Okay, now I've GOT to watch this show.

Oh, I know. My mom had me watch "Harvey" when I was about 13, and I thought it was really funny, for an old movie. One of my favorite Jimmy Stewart films. When I was watching FS and I realized he had started to call his delusion "Harvey" I almost fell off the couch. I thought it was hilarious. Unfortunately, there was no on around who I could tell about my sudden "I get it! I get it!" moment, so I had to bounce in my chair alone. And sinse I wasn't involved in FS fandom at the time (am still not really, except on LJ) I've always wondered if everyone who watches it gets that its a movie reference. Because it so is, and its so funny. But I keep wondering if there are people out there who think Harvey is just a random name that Crichton picked.

Ahh. Just what I need, a new fandom.

Ditto to that. Farscape is now on my list of "fandoms I intend to fully immerse myself in when I have money for DVD packs." X-Files, Highlander, and Angel are also on this list.

*grins* I love Harv. I made a vid about him, even... *cough*shamelessplug (http://kimera.anyanka.net/suburbn/)*cough*

Someone even recc'd the movie "Harvey" to me a while ago, not even knowing the Farscape connection. Which amused the hell outta me.
