Saw the T.a.t.u. music video again. There was a hell of a lot more kissing and fondling in it that I noticed the first time. Probably because I was walking around so much.

The singer has a beautiful voice. Pretty music + loud music ...all in one CD? = Happy Shaka. I'm asking my parents to get me their CD for my birthday. Definitely. Speaking of... god. I'm going to be 19 on the 26th. My last year as a teenager will begin. In little over two weeks.

It's actually a russian band. Their first hit over there can be translated as "Simple Movements" and has squeaking bedsprings in the background.
The kiss is their big on-stage gimmick.
Still, it's a pretty song, and their songwriters have a nice flair for melody and instrumentation.

As for Evanescence, it's a really enjoyable album, loud+pretty with real melodies.

Sorry to hear about your neck. Try to keep it warm, less strain on the pulled muscle.

Well, I haven't read any good serious V/M in a while, and I know you write serious pretty well, so how bout some of that? Ooohh... you could ahve vash angsting about wanting Meryl but being afraid to pursue a relationship because he still considers Knives to be dangerous, and is afraid that Knive would kill or hurt Meryl... I dunno. Gimme' somethin' dark. ;)

ok, um... if you're up to the challenge... we should start off with totally rauchy (maybe even in some place illicit too?), and then have them do it again later all romantic-like.

Vash should be in control for the raunchy one, and then Meryl for the romantic one... you can switch the order of occurance.

Just one request-- I've never read a V/M fic yet where the big hunks of metal on Vash's chest were mentioned. I mean, yeah, scars don't matter, but those big bolts would be more than a little uncormfortable, I think. So if you want to strive to be different, throw out a line or two about that. Doesn't have to be complaining, maybe just as mild as mentioning that Meryl shifted mid-cuddle so that he was lying on his arm, not his chest, where the cold hard METAL is.

That ever bug you in the fics?

YES! That totally bugs me in fics! I noticed that the series didn't really show the scars on him towards the end either. Like in episode 25 where he's shirtless but bandaged **giggle** Shirtlesssss....I mean, he WAS heavily bandaged, but even then I noticed scars in certain spots were missing. It'd be kinda cool if they showed like the metal grates and stuff from beneath the bandages. But, naturally, they don't think of things like that and rush the end of the series. Grr...it's like everyone just forgot about his scars and stuff, and that bugs me because I think they're very important for his character in showing how pained he is and how rough he's had it, etc. Heh, so sure, I'll do something like that. And I'll try to be raunchy if you really want. Makin' me nervous now! Never done raunchy. In fact, I'm not even sure what exactly is raunchy when I think about it. BUT! There's always a first for everything! **cracks knuckles again**

That bothers me too. I've never even read a fic where they mention him having them surgically removed or anything. When I watched it I thought he'd kept them as a reminder of his experiences at the hands of humans-- Knives even calls him on it and goes all "Look what you've let them do to you," or whatever. But maybe in starting a "new life" as he seems to be at the end of the show, he'd consider removing them, sort of like he's going to stop punishing himself and let himslef be happy.

Also, it may have been a pretty stupid concept for him to have metal on his chest in the first place, but dammit it's THERE, and that means fic writers shouldn't just ignore it.
