I'm surprised Chicago won over The Hours and The Pianist. Especially since LOTR was a better movie than Chicago, for all I enjoyed the latter.

I think it was a poor mark on the Acedemy to give Roman Polanski a personal award, or even to nominate him. The possibility of giving a collaberative work like a feature film the Best Picure award is one thing (and it seems like everyone agrees The Pianist was an amazing movie), but to give the man personally award is a mistake. And I wish he had shown up personally, so he could have gotten arrested.

I'm sad I missed Adrian Brody's acceptance speech. It sounds from everyone else like it was adorable.

I :heart: Michael Moore. Even though he was boo-ed off-stage by the same audience that clapped for his winning, and even though he took the opportunity to shamelessly spout his politics-- can you blame him?What better opportunity for attention-- I still think his movies kick ass and he deserved it.

um.... it's a very strange one. Her popular song, "sorta fairy tale." weird imagery, but you get a lot of his attractive/moody/sweet face.

Ooh, I love that video, even though it freaks me out. On "Pop Up Video" they said that all the female crew members who worked on it wanted to steal Adrien's underwear because they all had huge crushes on him.
