I found out last weekend what the heck "five by five" means.

It's a radio term. When you measure clarity of transmission on a scale of 1-5, if you're coming in loud/clear you're coming in 5/5.

Hah. I feel all superior and "in-the-know"... but I had to share anwyay.

I saw that somewhere in an FAQ, but since I don't trust anything, it's good to have independent confirmation(s). And it does sound wicked cool. I should start saying it, in fact. Especially since I'm channeling Faith.

As someone else pointed, out, the first number indicates volume, the second indicates clarity. So, to be most specific, five by five means loud & clear. :)

Should start saying it too... it does sound kind of cool. And mysterious.
