timepiececlockI finally got around to reading the latest ten or so chapters of Vinum et Rosae (Wine & Roses) by Holly, which I've been trying to put off until she finishes, but it's so damn addictive I can't help it.
My reaction to chapter 36 was pretty much like this:
"OMG! Marcella's the Instrument! That bitch, I knew it! Well, I didn't know it know it, but she just had to be evil!!"
...
"GAAHHHH!! It's Willow! Not Marcella, it's Willow! This is bad, bad BAD! This is going to be so awful! I love this fic!"
"What, 'hiatus'? Author can't go on hiatus after that! Get back here and finish this damn thing!"
I watched Monsoon Wedding, and am having to write a review of it for a class. It was an ok film. Pretty, colorful, and for the most part well acted. But the main storyline of the bride failed to interest me at all-- I ended up liking the subplots a lot better.
