when the cable guys changed around our cable channels (I keep forgetting what channel Scifi of Comedy Central is on now), we started to get new channels, among them, Toon Disney and MTV-2.

MTV-2, I've realized, is good to leave on in the background, cause ti's all videos, and non of that real world / undressed / jackass shit.

Now to the point: I just saw the FUNNIEST music video I've seen in a long time.

It's to this song I already liked, "The Girl All the Bad Guys Want" by Bowling For Soup.

The video is a total mockery of the Staind video "It's Been Awhile".

In case you remember that Staind vid, it showed the bald guy looking angsty over old photographs, smoking, sititng broodily, and sometimes there was fire in the background.

In this vid, the lead singer is done up to look like the Staind singer, ony he's looking at photos of cute puppies, and he coughs when he tries to smoke, and burns his fingers, and accidentally lights the carpet and lamp on fire, and when he's sitting broodily the camera pulls back to show he's actually on a toilet, and he's not brooding, but constipated.

It's so funny. I'd reccomend downloading it (since its hard to catch any particular video on MTV [or MTV 2] at any one time.

I was laughing so much.

You know that experience where you're digging through old files, and you find an unfinished snippet of a buffyfic?

I foudn this one where, back around the time of the whole SR-Grave stuff, I'd written a little prophecy based on the fact that two vampires have souls, and over the summer we werent' sure if Spike would still be a vampire. I think I was gonna make it into a fic, or something. I remember going to great effort to make part of it describe Angel and part of it describe Spike, and yet still have it all lyrical and twisty--- for a 2-verse little prophecy, anyway. It even mentions Connor, in an indirect/vague way of course.
