I'm sitting here trying to write sexy disturbing fanfic for the "make smut, not war" thing, but I can't.

I'm in the computer lab, surrounded by at least 80 other people, clicking incessantly or murmuring quietly, sometimes both, and the pressure is just too much.

Also, my idea for what to write disturbed me. If I could barely build myself up to writing it when I was planning out the idea in the drive over this morning, there' no way I can actually put it to screen surrounded by quietly loud strangers.

But I will. I'll do it when I get home, and I've mentally psyched myself up to it. I can't psyche myself up to write uncomfortable things in this very public environment.

What was the nicest thing anyone's ever said about you?

There were two things. One was something someone said last year, but I actually forgot the compliment. I just remember that it made me feel awesome and I swore I'd never forget--erven though I did.

The other one was in 7th grade, when this girl in my english class, who wasn't even particularly my friend, said "You write like an adult." That made me indescribably happy.

Ok, so I see the spoilers for Buffy episode 21 are out. Most of the people on my friends list are really good about this, but I just want to remind you all again to HIDE YOUR SPOILERS!

If anyone doesn't know how to do the lj-cut feature which hides text, you can find it in LiveJournal FAQ (on your right) under Journal Entries---> LJ specific tags.

Remember, moods are spoilers too! If your subject tells how incredibly overwrought you are becuase of great tragedy, or mad because you're a hard-core shipper and "something will happen to yuor pairing"-- Not cool! I don't want to accidentally infer that someone died or broke up or confessed "I love you", or whatever mught happen as that series comes to a close. The only non-spoilery emotion is surprise or lack of surprise.

But like I said, most of you are pretty sensitive to this, which is great. I just wanted to put it up because this is the _series_finale_, and I don't want to be accidentally ruined for it, not a bit.

I just went into 3 different rooms of my house and muted 3 TVs.

Ah....blessed silence.


For maybe 2 minutes until my dad turns them all back up again.


Wait....wait... AH! There goes the living room tv. So much for my taking a breather to think without background chatter.

I feel a headache developing in my right temple.
