I have a culture-clash question.
I'm watching the 6th episode of Coupling. The one about the closet of homemade porn.
Near the end, Patrick and Jeff agree on something, and they both do this weird hand gesture. Touching their nose while pointing at each other.
In the Buffy The Vampire Slayer episode _Weight of the World_ Spike made this same gesture at Anya when she correctly guessed "So then, you're saying-- Ben, is Glory."
What does this mean? Is this like, the European" thumbs up" or "Aye-OK" sign?
Inquiring minds want to know.
And, once again, love this show. Really, sincerely love it.
Like it a hell of a lot more than Sex & the City.
Probably because the characters are nicer people. Even the totally, mind-bogglingly shallow ones I find genuinely likable.

Ed is my No. 7
Faye is my No. 14
Spike is my No. 17
That makes sense, especially the Jet one.

Jun. 29th, 2003 05:41 pmSo I was talking to
automatedalice_ a few days ago and she showed me her contribution to the Coby Bebop Photoshop Wars.
I didn't know what it was, but stumbled upon it today by accident. I've beens staring at the pages of images giggling for a while now. There's an especially nice parody of the Memento movie poster on page 9. I'm not sure how much of this there is, but I've been through nine pages now and still haven't gotten to Alice's. I highly reccomend you guys go check it out.

Jun. 29th, 2003 11:47 pmI'm eating sunflower seeds right now. I went on this 23 day trip with my girl scout group in 9th grade, and I spent the whole time munching on sunflower seeds. It was a hold-over of my Mulder crush, at the time.
I feel like I've eaten two hundred and I haven't even put a dent in my very small 3 oz. bag. You know that sensation where you've eaten so many peanuts or sunflower seeds or sucked too long on the shells and you feel like your whole mouth is coated in salt, like a paint primer? If someone kissed me right now they'd leap backwards, waving their arms and scream "SALTY WOMAN! THERE'S A SALTY WOMAN HERE!"
