Screw the post-VMA stuff. I'm watching Inu Yasha now. It's up to the episdoes right before the ones I haven't seen. # 50-something. At least now the translations are better, and the actors are more used to their roles. Interestingly, Kouga's voice actor is the same voice of Duo from Gundam Wing.

I have to find a tape before 1:30, or I'll miss recording CB.

I just found what is now my favorite Harry/Luna fanfic.

It's sweet, and well written, but mostly it's very very funny.

Story: Rumor
Author: SGL
Rated: PG
Summary: Fluff, sarcasm, and a dash of self-realization... sixth year fic with OotP spoilers. [Harry/Luna, Ron/Hermione, and a bit of very *mild* slash: R/S]

Here's a nice article on fanfiction:

I don't recognize any of the names of fanfic authors mentioned, but they do have a picture from the fictionalley.org art.

Zombie

Huh. "Zombie" by The Cranberries is on the radio.

Back in 6th grade, I would listen to this song on repeat for hours.

God, listening to it now, it must have annoyed the fuck out of my parents.

That's ok.

::turns radio up:::

**

Another head hangs lowly,
Child is slowly taken.
And the violence caused such silence,
Who are we mistaken?

But you see, it's not me, it's not my family.
In your head, in your head they are fighting,
With their tanks and their bombs,
And their bombs and their guns.
In your head, in your head, they are crying...

In your head, in your head,
Zombie, zombie, zombie,
Hey, hey, hey. What's in your head,
In your head,
Zombie, zombie, zombie?
Hey, hey, hey, hey, oh, dou, dou, dou, dou, dou...

Another mother's breakin',
Heart is taking over.
When the vi'lence causes silence,
We must be mistaken.

It's the same old theme since nineteen-sixteen.
In your head, in your head they're still fighting,
With their tanks and their bombs,
And their bombs and their guns.
In your head, in your head, they are dying...

In your head, in your head,
Zombie, zombie, zombie,
Hey, hey, hey. What's in your head,
In your head,
Zombie, zombie, zombie?
Hey, hey, hey, hey, oh, oh, oh,
Oh, oh, oh, oh, hey, oh, ya, ya-a...

You are a Rabid Jack fan. You love the Khol, and the drunkeness, and the swagger, but you take it a little too far
You're a rabid Jack Sparrow fan. You love his khol,
drunken manner, and all around sexiness, but
you take it a little *too* far

Are you a rabid Pirates of the Caribbean fangirl?
brought to you by Quizilla

I'm probably going to be thrown down into fandom hell for saying this, shunned by all my compadres and scorned for the length of my subsequently empty and meaningless existence, but I liked Angel's hair better way back when it was stupid and stuck straight up like uncooked spagetti noodles. It was stupid, but I thought it looked more hot than what he's looked like in the last season.

I was reading Spin magazine today at the grocery store (which I weirdly visited 3 times in less than 12 hours), and a lengthy article on The Dashboard Confessionals labeled them an "emo" band. What is emo, as a music genre?
