Every day that I open the newspaper and see another front page article about San Francisco, I get this smile on my face that just gets bigger and bigger.

It's anarchy by marriage. It's so sweet.

I've been thinking about mailing a thank you card to the mayor, or the office that issues marriage liscences.

Mononoke vid... pretty.

I came came across a lovely music video to Princess Mononoke today. All you Hayao Miyazaki fans (or just good movie fans) would probably like it... it makes me think fond thoughts and want to dig out my DVD. It's not totally technically perfect, but it makes me happy and nostalgic and and brings out my inner environmentalist.

Vid Rec #2 today!

How is that I found two great vids to Miyazaki movies in one day? And this second one is even better than the Mononoke vid. It's to Spirited Away, which I admit is my favorite animated film of all time. And this video is perfect... I'm surpised by how wonderfully the song fits the clips chosen.

I think you have to register on the site before you can download this one, but the registration is free and they don't mail you anything ever afterward, except possibly a single request for confirmation. Anyway, you should register anyway to see this vid! I read that this was the person's first vid, which amazed me, until I read that they used to do fansubs. So they probably were already familiar with good timing and editing.
