I'm taking this morning to pimp byakugan's LJ angst icon. It's so appropriate. Since LJ is *not* sending my coments by email like it should. Grrr. Observe my Kyo mood icon.

We have relatives converging on my house. My great aunt was watching an Angel rerun from season 2 in the livingroom just because it happened to be on (it's the one where Darla and Dru have a lawyer buffet, which I had never seen before) and she was talking about how very pretty Darla was. She brought this up while they were vamped out. Interesting.

thedailyshow is my new crack. Mmm...JonStewart+politics.

We're going to the lunch/dinner for my grandmother in about an hour. All my relatives are being picked up from the airport right now, and some are already here. My grandma didn't want a funeral.

We went through her paintings this morning. My mom kept a few, I took two more in addition to the one she gave me for my birthday a few years ago. My great aunt and my second cousins took a few more. I'm just glad to see them going to family rather than having to sell or give them away.

Thanks for all the folks who commented on my post on Tuesday night; I appreciated it even though I wasn't up to replying to them all.

And leslina, when my package arives at your place, imagine it's got a hug tucked in between the CDs.

We had a wonderful meal with my family. My baby cousins are adorable. We told jokes and traded old stories about my grandmother, as she requested. It was very uplifting.
