timepiececlock: (Tutu- come undone)
I've been rewatching some episodes of Princess Tutu this weekend, and I noticed in the post-fight scene episode 20.5, during the oh-so-allegorical conversation between Racheal, Fakir, and Tutu, the use of one of my new favorite pieces of classical music: a bit by Chopin that also happens to appear during episode 51 of FMA (at about 9 minute mark through the 11 minute mark, where Stuff happens and if you've seen 51 you know the Stuff I'm talking about.)

I went looking for this music guide for PT to compare and see if the song pieces have the same title, but sadly the guide only goes up to ep 13, meaning no info on episode 20.5. still, I'm certain they're the same.

I did notice something else in examining this guide, though: Almost all the Fakir scenes and the Ahiru/Fakir scenes in episodes 9 through 11 use Chopin . Heee.

I wasn't listening for it before, but now I'm curious. And I wonder if Chopin is one of main Ahiru/Fakir musical themes.

P.S. [livejournal.com profile] hecatehatesthat, when are you going to update your PT fic?!

EDIT for explanation & clarification:

Luffy's voice was like ice picks to my ears. One line and I was scrambling for the power button, the mute button, SOMETHING. Before my fingers could touch the power button, just miliseconds away, I heard Nami utter the name "Zolo".

It's ZORO YOU FOX DEGENERATES! ZORO! LIKE THE MOVIE LEGEND AND LIKE THE MANGA!
