Why is it a Firefly fanficcer can write a better Tenth Doctor than the current DW writing team? And that's working with the contrary stuff we've been given about him so far.

Nope, haven't seen the new episode yet. Will probably watch it tomorrow.


You know what? I just realized that I still haven't gotten myself a Tenth Doctor icon. Why not? There's so many nice ones out there... maybe I just don't quite feel the love yet. I was feeling the love after The Christmas Invasion and after New Earth, but my love has dropped down to simple like, and like does not merit an icon.

Also, a tiny portion of my is still pissed off about That Crazy Dream I Had About Horses On SpaceShips And Alien Clock Robots. You know, that bad dream I mistook for an episode because I happened to also dream that the DW credits ran in front of it.

Doctor Who - The Impossible Planet

I feel like this is the first episode since New Earth where the show has its vibe back. That DW vibe that I've been missing. That was MY DOCTOR, right there. Not some inconsistantly characterized jackass.

The episode wasn't overwhlemingly fabulous, but it was good, it was interesting, and it had that vibe. Which is really all I need from DW. I don't love the new DW because it's earth-shattering television. I love it because it's my show. For the past few eps it hasn't felt like my show, or like my show but only in portions, but it really did with this ep. And that was nice.

What should my profile bio say?

Last time I asked this, someone (I'm pretty sure it was circe_tigana) wrote what has been my bio for probably two years now, maybe more:

A fierce warrior girl, leader of a renegade Bedouin-type justice-demon clan. She is all heroic and stuff and rides around the desert on a black horse. She wears black desert clothes, filmy and airy, but utilitarian. Also there are gold bits, and it's always breezy.


As for what the new one will be or say, I leave it to you. Length or size is not an issue, neither is style or format or amount of mature language. Teh Funny is always appreciated, since I might be looking at it for a while. You guys know me by now, or know some internet doppleganger version of me, and I'm sure anything you come up with will about forty times more interesting than anything I can think of.

So...help a girl out?
