Bloody hell. The Red Bull energy drink tastes like SMARTIES, of all things. Fuckin' Smarties.

I don't know if I can drink this stuff. I had a plan to drink it, and hoped it would keep me all energized for staying up late.

But jesus... it's like swallowing acid candy.

According to this interview I read one time, TV writer Doug Petrie was high on Red Bull when he wrote the BTVS episode Fool For Love.

I didn' think one measly little can of 8 ounces (at nearly 2 dollars a piece) would be worth bothering, but... having tasted it I can understand why you'd only be able to drink that much.

This better have a lot of caffeine it. If I'm not at least getting my caffeine fix it's simply not worth it.

::guzzles a gulp::

::scrunched up face::

Fuck, I think I'm actually starting to like it. This is so sick.

The story I heard is, James got a case or two from a fan(thus bringing us back to people burdened with too much money) and when Doug Petrie came to James, all frazzled about writing FFL, James gave him a case of Red Bull. There you have it--the brilliance of FFL is partly Red Bull, partly Joss. Because as we're finding out, Doug sure loved Riley more than he loved Spike.

Yeah. But wasn't FFL his first episode to write all on his own?

It's sad that I'd know that.

I actually liked Riley best in season 5. Turning into a vampire pixie stic gave him internal conflict, whereas his conflicts with the Initaive were kind of cheesy. And plus, he let that year. :)
