Seriously though, I can see why you wouldn't want that guy anywhere near political power. But isn't being a Republician going to rather hinder him? Last time I checked, Calafornia was about as democratic a state as you could get!

Date: 2003-07-18 02:50 pm (UTC)Parts of Southern California, especially Orange County, are very Republican. To be honest California trades off. We're a bunch of liberals who switch political parts in leadership roles every few terms. Reagan was a Republican, as was Nixon, and they were both California governors. Lately California has been strognly Democratic in its elections, but backlash from Gray Davis might change that. I hope it doesn't, because I personally do not want to face voting for a Republican as my only option, and neither does anyone else, but if they start the recall it could happen.
