Jul. 25th, 2003 10:46 pmI can't tell you how much this amused me.
If you follow it down, it tracks "these" geeks who consider themselves less geeky than "those" geeks, by fan-subject matter.
It has a special place for Mythology fans, Comic fans, Anime fans, Video Gamers, Heinlein fans, amateur Sci/Fi writers, amateur Sci/Fi artists, and Sci/Fi Television fans. And each of those have their sub-categories.
Hilarious.
still makes me cackle

Date: 2003-07-27 03:11 am (UTC)Okay.. I read Fantasy Literature, I do have some comic books (Buffy ones), I have done a bit of RPing in my time *cough*fouryears*cough*, I do read books based on TV shows (again, Buffy), I have written fanfic -- but never a Mary Sue, a TV Sci-Fi fan... and the last one, well, *weeps* lets just say I was over six at the time.
I also know some Ren Fair Folk, a person who buys expensive replica swords, and a furrie.
At least I know where all my inner-turmoil comes from now, I look down on myself so much.

cross-pollination.
Date: 2003-07-26 10:03 am (UTC)And I admit that I would definitely by some of the Lord of the Rings mail-order swords if I could afford it.
