I've been summoned for jury duty.
I'm nine-fucking-teen.
I'm not supposed to be a juror until I'm at least in my twenties or thirties or something.
They don't want me. I'm in college, and I am too quick to fry people.

Date: 2004-01-28 11:57 pm (UTC)You know, I never really thought about jury duty in the UK. I guess you must have it, cause otherwise you would be jerks and we wouldn't call you our ally. But all I get is this lingering vision of people in wigs and a big, scary judge. Dunno where that comes from. ::shrug::
Both of my parents have done jury duty at least 3 times, and my mom was summoned but opted out twice when my brother and I were very young, on grounds of taking care of young children.
