timepiececlock: (what the shit is this?)

Ah. This was the episode with the pyschic fear-inducing guy, and the homeless population.

I remember feeling really, really bad for Sakaki in this episode. First the guy he follows goes insane runs right in front of a truck, then another person tries to do the same thing, and then finally the same thing almost happens to him himself. Poor guy.

I can't believe you're more interested by Sasuke, though!

Honestly, it's the Sharingan he's got coupled with this revenge angle for his brother that has me wanting more Sasuke. It really didn't click for me until Naruto saves him from Orochimaru and throws the scaredy cat line back into his face that I realized that Sasuke wasn't the stereotypical quiet badass. He's just a kid. And, as tough as he acts, he's got to grow up just the same as Naruto, making the relationship between them even better than it was before. Instead of just being rivals, they seem to be building a brotherly bond with one protecting the other.

And Kakashi. ::claps:: OOoohhh... I can't wait until you see even more!

Yeah, I'm waiting for more badass Kakashi. Loved the stuff between him and Zabuza, and him telling Zabuza that he'd be able to join Haku in the afterlife, making Kakashi more than just a ninja if you go by his definition. He feels for his students and his opponents. And, frankly, I'm really curious about that book he keeps on reading.

Will definitely check out that link you sent me. Because, as much a fan of Farscape vids, I like to change it up once in a while. Also, forgot to add Gaara to my list of interesting characters. I know there's got to be something with him later down the line. He's just too cool looking to waste to just the first exam and that eye thing.

I love that scene. That was one of my favorite scenes in the anime to date. And I agree... it's why around this time period in the second season I finally started liking Sasuke, because his tough shell crumbles and you realize, "Oh, he really is only 12 years old."

I loved the angst when Naruto thought he was a fake... because although he didn't like him, Naruto had so much faith in this strong person/rival that he believed Sasuke to be. And then reality hits. And it made me sad. Adn it make Sasuke ashamed for the first time.

The snake-stopping thing was very cool though. Very kick-as imagery. I just loved the way that whole fight looked visually...Sasuke collapsing... Naruto pinned to the tree unconscious was a pretty potent image too. These kids are so strong... and yet they're just taken out like ...children. I was really feeling for Sakura there too. She does some growing up.

And, frankly, I'm really curious about that book he keeps on reading.

::laugh:: The porn book! Actually, there is a bit more information about that later. Can't tell.

I like his ratty short red hair and his evil eyeliner.

Oh, is that what that is? I remember there being a title for it when he's battling Naruto for the first time and inflicts the 1000 Years of Pain on him, but I really thought it was a book. Oh well. Wait. More information later about porn? This series rocks!!! :)

The book is called "Come Come Paradise" or "Make-out Paradise" depending on the translation... that's show in the first episodes where Kakashi is introduced, though I can understand how you missed it. It's sort of a running joke for comic relief that pops up every once in a while. Part of the joke, I think, is that someone so stoic and reserved and proffessional as Kakashi (though not punctual) constantly has his nose in a "dirty" book.

Oh, check out this video!

After you check out that Naruto parody vid that I linked you (in this entry's comments), check out this one:

It's a Cowboy Bebop vid, and one of my favorite vids ever.

You can see my list of favorites here:

They're all fantastic anime vids. Check them out. Especially that CB one above... you can't not love that one.
