Well, I updated with about half a dozen new icons, several of my own new Nauruto icons (my default icon included), and various other anime icons from [livejournal.com profile] donna_c_punk, [livejournal.com profile] byakugan, and [livejournal.com profile] sidewalksg. I also borught back two of my own favorites from before-- my "Faye Valentine, who used to be rich last Sunday" icon, and this Mulder/Scully birds icon you see used here.

Sailor Moon!

and... Fushigi Yuugi. And Dragonball Z. And Trigun, in terms of Wolfwood/Milly, who experienced the full development and resolution of a romantic relationship...until he had to go and eat that damned green apple.

Never watched the first one. I can't stand Dragonball. I'm not so big on Wolfwood/Milly as I am with Vash/Meryl, but yeah, I'd forgotten about them.

wow. you've never seen Sailor Moon... well, in most ways you're lucky, because it's not very well made or very intelligent, and it gets really repetitive... you'd probably not really enjoy it beyond the first season, if even that, if you watched it now after having seen much better anime first. But at the same time I have great nostalgic fondness for it as my first anime, back in 7th grade.

I'm an ex-DBZ person. For a while i hated it and tried to ignore the fact that I had ever liked it... now I'm apathetic on the whole subject. I've marked it down to learning.

I'm not really a big Wolfwood/Milly person either... in terms of fandom anyway. Though I loved seeing it happen on the series, I have no desire to read or write fic about it. And Wolfwood was my favorite character... I think it's because I regard the whole thing as finished and complete beyond all doubt. They had their one night, and he's gone, and that's tragic but that's life. Milly is obviously the endurable kind who will move on to have other great loves.

But that begs the question of why I love reading fic where Spike, whose story was just as finished and completed thematically as Wolfwood's was, comes back to life like someone hexed him to only ever have comas and never die in fic?
