The Elric Brother's teacher is the bomb. She's got dreadlocks. That's so freaking cool.

And in the military characters plotline... ::cries again just because life is unfair::

Side Note: I think "Seven Nation Army" by The White Stripes is a great Edward song, n'est-ce pas?

Your icon makes me cry.

The military plotline makes me cry.

All the characters DYING make me cry.

My October Project CD I played today made me cry because it reminded me of FMA.

In short: this anime? Makes me cry.

(thanks, I think :D)

ohhh, btw

this anime? Makes me cry.

I cried the first three times I watched episode 25 (I've only ever cried once for a character death, the second time watchign Trigun 23 and the first time watching ep 33 of Fushigi Yuugi, so 3 times is a record for me). I almost cried twice in the car because my new mixed CD had the song "Do You Realize" by Flaming Lips and that has become Hughes's elegy in my mind.

I came halfway to crying when Ed and Al faced off with Scar the first time in the rain and Al was wounded almost beyond repair and Ed's automail arm was blown off.

I didn't cry for Nina, but I felt like I had been suckerpunched. It was Nina's situation that made me realize this show would be seriously unforgiving to its audience.

I was in a panicked state of continous freak out for all of the two or three episodes from when Nina's father first shows himself with his upside-down head (EEEEEWWWW!!) all the way through Ed almost murdering the prisoners to make the stone to bring Al back.

Could you make me a copy of your October Project CD? Or maybe upload songs. Cause I'm kinda curious now that I've heard two or three of their songs that I like (Johnny, After The Fall, Funeral In His Heart) but they don't have any free downloads on their site.

This show is crack. I watched everything up to ep 43 in a four day span. And then I went hunting for the manga.

Oy.

Suprnova.org, baby. I finished watching through 44 today and it's BREAKING. MY. FUCKING. HEART. that there are only going to be 52 episodes in the series.

*so needs to make FMA icon already*

Is it the [fork] release? The version I grabbed ended up crashing my explorer multiple times.

Yup, 'twas Fork, and I didn't have any problem with the files themselves--though the fansubs for 43 & 44 had several grainy/blocky action scenes and subtitles missing for some lines of dialogue. I use Winamp to watch such anime files; maybe that has something to do with it.

the voice actor for Hughes even *smiles* the same way as the character. funny.

Suprnova.org... sometimes that loads for me, sometimes it doesn't. Lately I've been getting the new eps in direct download from http://www.animeu.com, but they're down right now and the only links you can access are shows I don't know and Naruto 94.

Which kicked ass, by the way. Cause Kabuto just kicks ass, if you know what I mean. And Naruto is tough. I've decided I like Jeraiya's (sp?) reasoning: the last dude standing is the best ninja. BECAUSE HE'S STILL STANDING! Can't argue that logic. And somehow I feel Naruto is turning out to be the guy who might not move the quickest or learn the most, but who in the end is gonna be still standing because he's the toughest cookie on the cookie tray. The kind that knocks your teeth out when you try to bite into it. I got the two FMA icons I have here, a very talent-filled place for icons.

I would love to see some icons you make! Especially the funny ones.

Found the bittorrents off suprnova.org. 44 is actually out now, but the version apparently has crc issues. If you have trouble getting them, I can upload 'em to my ftp one at a time.

if you could upload them... I would hug you. Seriously. And... uh... praise your greatness with multiple exclamation marks!!!!!!

I have DSL so I can download an episode pretty swiftly, and I have Bulletproof as an FTP client that works pretty well. 41-43, because I'm afraid of anything more that might make my comp freeze up yet again.

I grabbed 1-26 from fullmetal-alchemist.com, and 27-37 from, uh...crap can't remember the site (have it bookmarked at home). I'm currently uploading 41 right now, so give it about 15 more minutes and it should be good to go. Let me know when you're done, so I can replace it, as I've got somewhat limited space.
