After that comes out and after the Ender's Game movie comes out two years from now, and thinking of LOTR too, it means that 3/4 of my favorite books will have become films within a 6 year period.

The enemy's gate is down!
Date: 2004-10-25 12:44 am (UTC)Sure, it could be great. If the late Stanley Kubrick were to rise from the dead and direct it. But I fear anyone now would be afraid to have a movie that involves the emotional abuse of 6-to-12-year-olds, two fights/killings amongst young children (one that takes place in a shower room of all places) by the hero, and mass genocide.
You could say I'm paranoid it will be ruined.
