Thanks for the whole thing. Feh. I don't think anyoen has ever described me as "bonnie and blithe and good and gay", so that confirms I wasn't born on Sunday.
Is blithe even a good thing? I have to look that up now...

Date: 2002-12-15 12:49 am (UTC)Oh, it's All About the Angst for me, honey, as proven by my choice in media entertainment. ;)
If anyone described me as "bonnie and blithe and good and gay" I'd be disturbed; not because it wasn't true (which, y'know, it's not), but because it's just odd...

Date: 2002-12-15 12:58 am (UTC)No kidding. My family's all "Buffy is juvenile, and campy, and silly." I can't seem to get them to realize that its actually quite dramatic and often downright depressing or disturbing. But even if I did, then they'd just want to know why I like it, for the same reason that they don't understand my prediliction for movies like Fight Club and Donnie Darko.
Oh, btw, I like your icon. That's one of my favorite screencaps. The words remind me of this t-shirt I once saw in a Hot Topic store, that said:
"The voices in my head can beat up the voices in your head."
