BtVS writer whose work I adore:

Fallowdoe. You can find the stuff here.

She/He writes wonderful Spike, wonderful Buffy, exceedingly fascinating and unique perspectives on B/S, and lots of deep, abiding angst.

For just a start, I recommend:

Spiegel Im Spiegel- translation "mirror in mirror"; Spike and Buffy wander a post-gift apocalyptic world, and though they're never togehter their stories mirror and intertwine. I ADORE this story, btw. It's so different, and the characterizations are wonderful, and the OCs are strongly written. Recently updated WIP.

Jump- a season 6 short fic. Buffy, a ledge, and Spike.

Axis- Post grave, Spike-comes-back-with-a-soul story. But by far one of the better ones. I was sad when it ended, because I wanted to keep reading it for a long long time. Complete.

Shadowland- an end-of-season-6 Spike short fic. Angsty encounter in a ship's cargohold on the way to Africa. Quiet and sad.

Her use of imagery is delicate and intense, and I'm really excited to find out where she's going with the story.

I know, I'm excited too. I'd love to see the Buffy/Spike meeting, but I also understand if she doesn't add that, or if its the very last moment and cuts off before we hear what they say/react. It would fit with the story style so far.

Also -- love your icon.

It's pretty cool, huh? I got it from [livejournal.com profile] buffy_icons community, just yesterday. I love that picture of Spike's chest & abs in blue wiht a black background. Evee though it was the most a heartbreaking moment in BY when we saw him start to unzip. ::gets teary-eyed:: It just makes me want to rant and cry, even now. But still, such a sexy pic!
