I have been trying with only moderate success to print out labels for B/S CDs.

I got the design I want (it's wicked cool), with the song list and everything, but my printer seems to be taking the browns & yellows and making them into pinks and purples instead. Which makes the light blue text not show up as well against the background. And this is a new printer cartridge too. I don't really understand why its not working.

My printer's been wacky though ever since I installed Window's XP. Which, btw, has been nothing but a stressful event for me in the months since. Turns out XP doesn't ahve compatible drivers with my HP printer. Then when we finally got them installed properly, it might be faulty because it prints, but it doesn't print in the right colors and I can't access the printer options shortcut on my desktop to see if the printer is proplerly aligned.

And I semed to have misplaced the two new cartirdges my dad bought. I think there in the other room, where my brohter is currently sleeping. ugh.

All very frustrating.

I might have to send out the B/S CDs with only text labels, without the kick-ass picture.

I'll see in the morning.

Well, might be partly because the colors you see on the screen really have very little relation to the colors that will come out of your printer. Or, it could be that you need to re-calibrate the inks in your printer. Try that, first. Failing that, print it in black/white.

Well, see, I thought about that. But we're talking MAJOR color change. Not just lighter or darker, brown turning to full purple and yellow to pinky purple.

How do I do that? Like I said, I cna't seem to accesss my printer options.
